Vad behöver du för att aktivera Facebook Instant Articles i WordPress?

- Facebook page för din WordPress website.
- Minst 10 eller fler artiklar på din website.

Anmäla dig till Facebook Instant Articles
Först måste du besöka Facebook Instant Articles website och klicka på knappen ”Starta intjäning” för att komma igång.

Facebook kommer att visa dig ett code snippet som du måste add till din WordPress website.
Du kan add to upp till 10 websites för Facebook Instant Articles.
You need to copy the code and insert it into the <head> section of your WordPress site.

Du kan edit filen header.php i ditt barntema och klistra in koden precis före taggen <head>.

När du har aktiverat pluginet går du till Settings ” Insert Rubriker and Footers page från WordPress dashboard och klistrar in koden i header-sektionen.
Klicka på knappen Save för att spara dina ändringar.
När du har addat koden till din website måste du gå tillbaka till tabben Creator Studio och clicka på knappen ”Claim URL”.
Ett popup-fönster kommer nu att visas.
Du behöver bara enter din domän och clicka på knappen ”Claim”. Om din site fortfarande är under utveckling kan du aktivera alternativet ”This is a development URL”.
Därefter kommer du att se din domän under fältet ”Approved domain URLs” när den har blivit approved.
Gå vidare och klicka på knappen ”Confirm”.
Nästa steg är att add to ett Instant Articles RSS-flöde för din website.
För att göra det, rulla ner till ”Add production articles” och klicka på knappen ”Add”.
På nästa vy ser du en dropdown-meny där du kan selecta hur du gillar att lägga till artiklar i produktionen.
Gå vidare och klicka på dropdown-menyn ”Add articles” och välj alternativet ”Add with RSS-flöde”.
Ett popup-fönster kommer nu att visas med information om produktionens RSS-flöde.
Här måste du enter URL:en till RSS-flödet.
För att skapa en RSS-flöde URL, kan du head tillbaka till din WordPress webbplats dashpanel och generera en Instant Article feed.
Först installerar och aktiverar du pluginet Instant Articles for WP. Om du behöver hjälp kan du vänligen läsa vår guide om hur du installerar ett plugin för WordPress.
Efter aktivering kan du heada till Instant Articles från din WordPress adminpanel och enter din Facebook Page ID:n. Du hittar ID:n för sidan i Claim domain section i Creator Studio.
När du har enter ID:n för page, glöm inte att save settings.
Tillägget kommer att generera en omedelbar artiklar feed för din WordPress webbplats.
Du kan hitta feeden genom att lägga till /feed/instant-articles efter din webbplats URL, gillar detta:
https://www.example.com/feed/instant-articles
Kopiera din omedelbara artiklar feed URL och växla tillbaka till din Facebook Creator Studio tabs. Därefter anger du URL:en för RSS-flödet och klickar på knappen ”Save”.
Facebook visar dig ett success message om att ditt feed har lagts till.
Ställ in Styling och Branding för dina Instant Articles
Därefter kan du editera stilen på dina Facebook Instant Articles.
Gå bara till alternativet ”Configure article styles” under Add 10 production articles for review och klicka på knappen ”Configure”.
Efter det kan du ändra utseendet på dina artiklar.
Gå vidare och klicka på knappen ”Add style”.
Detta kommer att öppna en popup där du kan customize standardstilen för Instant Articles.
Det finns alternativ för att uploada din website logga och edit stilen på din Rubrik, brödtext, byline, underrubrik, med mera.
Det bästa är att du kan se en live preview av den ändring du gjort i fönstret till höger.
När du har gjort ändringarna, glöm inte att klicka på Save och sedan på Done.
Submit Your Instant Articles Feed for Review
Innan du skickar in ditt Instant Articles-feed för review måste du se till att du har minst 10 artiklar i ditt Instant Articles-feed.
Om du redan har publicerat mer än 10 artiklar på din website, men feeden inte visar alltihop, måste du editera dina senaste 10 artiklar och helt enkelt click på knappen update.
När du är säker på att du har 10 artiklar i ditt Instant Articles feed, är du nu redo att submit dem till Facebook för review.
Om det inte finns några error med ditt Instant Articles feed och du har completed all the obligatorisk tasks, then you will see a ”Submit for review” button. Gå vidare och klicka på den här knappen för att skicka ditt feed för review.

I did that and one more thing…
I went to my Facebook Page > Publishing Tools > Published Posts at the top of the sidebar.
From there, I located my most recently shared blog post and clicked on it to open the Post Details box.
Then under the little down arrow that is your normal edit button on a post, I clicked on ’Refresh Share Attachment’
That was the thing that made it all work.

No matter what changes I make, I cannot submit articles.There has to be a better plugin than this one. It;s always buggy or not compatible with ”this version of WordPress” I got it right the first time with a client;s site, but after I cannot publish any other new articles. I am replying to my own comment (weird) because I fixed the problem I was facing. Missing logo. My articles were fine, but no matter how many style editors I created, I couldn’t fix the ’missing logo’ error. What I did was go back to the ’default’ or ’preset’ style editor and customized it. Voila! Articles were submitted. Problem solve. I am still looking into it though. Maybe it’s me, but I find this plugin a wee bit buggy

You can check what causes this issue if you look at Instant Articles settings on Facebook. For me, the page logo was missing. Once I uploaded that, the Permissions Error went away.

Hi there! I have some problems with this plugin. How can I log out the app form this plugin because this plugin can’t connect with facebook anymore. When I first installed it, I couldn’t select my fb page because it wasn’t showing them at all so it just redirected to the first step. I tried deactivating, deleting the plugin and I installed it again but it is stuck again at that that state. I also tried deleting the app, but it just doesn’t work! Anybody had these problems?

Thanks for this article! It was super helpful with the step by step instructions. I’m about halfway through and the plugin won’t show the settings page in wordpress. When I click Instant Articles on the left sidebar, it’s just a blank screen. When I try other ways to get to the settings page, it remains a blank screen. Can’t Load URL: The domain of this URL isn’t included in the app’s domains. To be able to load this URL, add all domains and subdomains of your app to the App Domains field in your app settings.

Is that a ”yes you have to use a custom link” or ”yes Facebook will automatically detect there is an Instant Articles version to serve”? For example I use Edgar and have hundreds of posts cycling through, so once I have Instant Articles setup do I need to adjust those links or will they post the same way and Facebook itself simply decides what version to serve? Also, will users on desktop see the Instant Articles version or will they still be taken to the full website page? Lastly, to Instant Article views count as page views on your website or are they essentially served from a cached version on Facebook’s servers?

How do I disable it? Facebook won’t tell and I have searched everywhere.

You can undo the steps you have taken. For example, remove the feed from Production RSS in publishing tools of your facebook page. Remove URLs from Claim Your URL. Remove Meta tag you added into header. Delete the App you create for your page.
