Varför visa blogginlägg på en separat page?
Home page är front page på din website i WordPress och den första sidan som dina besökare ser. Som standard visar WordPress dina senaste inlägg på home page, och det är logiskt om du runar en blogg.
Men det är inte alltid idealiskt för småföretags websites. Du kommer förmodligen att vilja ha en mer engagerande home page som berättar för användarna om ditt företag, dina produkter och tjänster, låter dem veta hur de ska kontakta dig och ökar din konvertering av försäljning.

Skapa en separat home page och blogg page
Först måste du skapa två separata pages i WordPress som du kan använda som home page och blogg page.
Du behöver inte add to något content till dessa pages, och du kan namnge dem som du gillar. For instance, some business websites use ”News” for their blogg page.
När du har skapat dessa pages går du till Settings ” Lä sa page i WordPress admin area.
Nu, under sektionen märkt ”Your homepage displays”, måste du klicka på knappen för ”A static page”.
Därefter kan du select the Home and Blog pages som du skapade tidigare. You should then scroll down and click the ”Save Changes” button.

Customize din home page

Customize din blogg page

När du är där väljer du alternativet ”Pages” i den vänstra colonnen i hela Site Editor.

Härifrån väljer du alternativet ”Blogg” och klickar sedan på sidans preview till höger för att börja customize din blogg-sida.

Dessutom kan du ändra bakgrundsfärg, text eller link på din blogg page genom att clicka på ’Styles’ icon högst upp till höger på vyn.
Detta öppnar en blockpanel till höger där du kan klicka på fliken ”Typografi” för att ändra textfärg, fliken ”Färger” för att ändra bakgrundsfärg och fliken ”Layouts” för att konfigurera din bloggs pages dimensioner.
När du är klar, glöm inte att klicka på knappen ”Save” högst upp för att spara dina settings.
Nu kan du besöka din WordPress blogg page för att se hur den ser ut.
Men om du använder ett klassiskt theme, måste du använda metod 2 istället för att customize din blogginlägg page.
Metod 2: Skapa en Customize-sida för blogginlägg med en Drag & Drop Builder (rekommenderas)

Customize din blogg page

När du har slutfört customize av din blogg page, se till att du klickar på knappen ”Save” högst upp på vyn. Sedan kan du återgå till listan med templates genom att clicka på ikonen ”X”.
Aktivering av temat SeedProd
När du har slutfört customize av temamallarna måste du publicera det nya anpassade temat.
Det är bara att toggle inställningen ”Enable SeedProd Theme” till positionen ”YES”.

För att göra detta öppnar du din homepage i WordPress block editor. När du är där klickar du på knappen ”Add Block” högst upp till vänster på vyn för att öppna block-menyn.

Your posts archive page would list every post on your site. If you wanted to separate by category, you can add links to the category in your menu and WordPress will generate an archive page for that category.

Hi,
I created the blog page as you suggested so that I can create a static page. I like it! However, I don’t know if it’s because of a plugin that I’ve since deleted, or not, but my single blog posts aren’t showing my logo and menu. They show on the static page and on any menu page when I click on it, but they’re missing on the actual single blog posts. My blog’s title is the first thing you see at the top of the page. I need help figuring this out. Do you have any idea why?

I Know i am missing something simple. I have a website and have followed the instruction on how to set up a blog page. However the blog page says ”Welcome to WordPress. This is your first post. Did you set both to be the same page? Your theme may also have a setting for displaying your posts on your home page so you may want to check with your theme’s support or try swapping themes to see if that resolves the error.

I built a site a couple of years ago with no intention of ever adding a blog. Now I’d like to add one. Originally I built the home page ”latest post” not a ”static” page. Retrospectively I can clearly see the error of my ways. Is there an easy method to change things now?

I want to ad a blog page displaying 5-10 of our latest posts per page but I don’t want to lose my current home page displaying our latest posts. I’d like to be able to maintain my current categoried formal posts/articles while adding a section of running blog posts. Can I have my cake and eat it too or am o asking too much?

For what it sounds like you’re wanting, you could create category pages to separate your content. You would want to ensure the blog item in your menu is linking to the page you set as your posts page, you have posts published, and you cleared your cache for the most common reasons for nothing appearing.
