Det första du behöver göra är att installera och aktivera RealTidBits PushQuote plugin. När du har aktiverat pluginet går du till post editor genom att klicka på Posts ” Add New. Om du använder visual editor kommer du att se en knapp för att dra citat bland andra icons i post-redigeraren.
Välj de rader i ditt post content som du vill visa som en pullquote och tryck på pullquote-knappen i editorn. Den kommer att fråga dig om du vill justera den till vänster eller höger, och du är klar.
Alternativt om du använder textredigeraren kan du också använda shortcode runt citatinnehållet så här:
[pullquote]Text från din artikel som ska användas som pullquote går här[/pullquote].
Som standard kommer det att positionera citaten till vänster. Om du vill positionera höger, lägg sedan till koden så här: [pullquote position="right"]
RealTidBits PushQuote plugin använder tidbit.es för URL-förkortning. Vi önskar att det fanns ett alternativ för användare att ändra det. Du kan dock fortfarande ändra hur pluginet ser ut genom att editera stylesheet som finns i CSS folder. Du kan använda ett FTP-program för att redigera filen pullquote.css som ligger i /wp-content/plugins/pushquote/css/. Du kan också editera stylesheet från din adminpanel i WordPress. Gå till Tillägg ” Editor och använd rullgardinsmenyn för att välja Pushquote Plugin. On your right hand you will see a list of files, click on pullquote.css file to edit it.

Hi there! Any idea why this plugin might not be working with my blog? I’ve tried a couple of different themes and I’ve tried deactivating all other plugins to see if it might be fighting with another one. No luck.

I LOVE the way this one looks so streamlined and doesn’t take away from the rest of the post. The only alternative I’ve found is text to share, and the buttons are large and obnoxious.

This looks great but the plugin hasn’t been updated in over a year. I’m hesitant to use it, because of this. Do you know of another similar plugin that is current? Or could this be manually added without a plugin?

I am very new to all of this, I want to thank you for the info and also ask is there a plugin that we can use on a general collection of quotes not just pull quotes….
Like if I have 50 love quotes what plugin do I need to allow people to share the quote/s they like and/or rate each love quote as well?

Wonderful idea.
All the author has to do is resist the temptation to stick in a pullquote where she/hethinks there is particularly ”foine wroitin'” to be repeated.
Personally, I would let a friend be the judge as to what is the pullquote. If any.
But really, thanks. It lifts the professional look of the blog.
