wp-config.php är en av WordPress core-filer. Den innehåller information om databasen, inklusive namn, server (vanligtvis localhost), användarnamn och password. Denna information allow WordPress att kommunicera med databasen för att lagra och hämta data (t.ex. Posts, Users, Settings, etc.). Filen används också för att definiera avancerade alternativ för WordPress.
