Are you looking for a Mailchimp alternative? Mailchimp is a popular email marketing service, and it used to be an industry favorite. We even used it at WPBeginner for a number of years.
However, due to the recent changes in Mailchimp pricing and several other reasons, many users are looking to switch from Mailchimp.
The good news is that there are a lot of great email marketing services that offer better features, service, and more business friendly prices.
In this article, we will share some of the best Mailchimp alternatives for your email marketing needs.
Why Are People Switching Away from Mailchimp?
Mailchimp used to be one of the top email marketing services on the market. They grew in popularity due to their famous “free forever” plan.
But, in the recent years they have failed to keep up with innovation especially when it comes to advanced features like marketing automation.
To make matter worse, their recent pricing changes are not user friendly because they’re now charging businesses for unsubscribed users in their account. You should NOT have to pay for subscribers who are no longer receiving messages from you.
Their customer support has become increasingly unhelpful and almost every request gets a standard message like: we’re forwarding this to our engineering or leadership team.
While they’re using fancy marketing lingo such as “all in one marketing platform”, you don’t have the ability to do basic things like bulk delete more than 100 contacts at a time.
Fortunately, there are several Mailchimp competitors with far better features, pricing, and quality of service.

For years, I have had to use CC for a number of clients. Their drag and drop builder is old, glitchy and our team hates it using it. We have moved on to MailerLite which from, what we are seeing, seems to be delivering better. On top of that their drag and drop builder is easier and more reliable to use. I would get on chat support with Constant Contact, and it was a constant litany of them apologizing for the builder, and other things that were not functioning well.

To my knowledge, only MailChimp and MailerLite still provide access to the HTML in their text editors. Constant Contact removed this feature several years ago because they claimed users were screwing up their designs with it. That’s why I stopped using them. I like being able to work with the HTML because it’s more flexible and efficient. It allows me to do more customization than just using the drag & drop builders. If more of these other companies provided this functionality I would definitely use them.

I have used mail chimp when I started blogging and found it very useful.
But as the time passes and new players with equally important features and customisations options came with affordable price , it started losing its user base.
constant contact has been in the news for a long time and I have decided to try it for my upcoming website.
Thanks wpbeginner for making comparative analysis of MailChimp alternatives.

I have Sendinblue and love it and I am currently looking to add a membership site. No membership site integrates with it as an existing addon.
Is there a viable workaround for Sendinblue to work with Memberpress?
WPBeginner Support
Sadly, for this question, you would need to reach out to Memberpress. They may have the option through Zapier
