It’s great to see such a mix – from big names like Disney to smaller ones like PawPrintPets.

I know most of these bigger sites are probably running on multisite installations. They’re using custom post types too.
Also add Microsoft Clarity Blog to this list, it uses WordPress.

I’m honestly a bit surprised to see WordPress being used by some major corporate websites. I would expect a custom solution backed by a team of developers dedicated to maintaining the site—essentially a classic IT department. On the other hand, I understand that WordPress helps keep the budget to a minimum; practically every developer knows it, making it much easier and cheaper to hire people to work on the website. I find it quite interesting that even companies like Walt Disney and Sony have websites running on WordPress. It seems to demonstrate the popularity and versatility of this system.

I am going in the right direction by having wordpress plan and seriously thinking to take all kinds of websites to our agency.
Thanks for the list of brands using wordpress.

WordPress has become a very affordable and popular content management system. The advantage is that if you hand over the finished website to someone else, they will understand if they know how to work with wordpress. We have e.g. many government websites of some ministries built on WordPress.

Been using WP for several years. All along I’ve wanted to convert the present setup to a cms structure. Have little concern about keeping up to date with temporary postings. Want a site with more or less permanent articles and pictures. Using WP more like writing an article in a word processor with the commands and options of a word processor such as alphabetizing the titles of articles rather than organizing by dates or by frequency. Is this possible?
