To już dziewiąty czwarty. Czwartego lipca, dziewięć lat temu, założyłem WPBeginner. Nie mogę uwierzyć, że przebyliśmy tak długą drogę.

Zacząłem korzystać z WordPressa, gdy miałem 16 lat i założyłem WPBeginner w wieku 19 lat z jedną misją: uczynić WordPress łatwym dla początkujących.
Od tego czasu WPBeginner stał się największą darmową witryną z zasobami WordPressa dla początkujących.

Mój syn, Solomon, ma teraz 20 miesięcy. Czas leci, a on tak szybko dorasta. Amanda (moja żona) i Solomon dołączyli do mnie podczas wielu moich podróży służbowych, a także odbyliśmy kilka zabawnych wycieczek.
Od ostatniego wpisu z okazji rocznicy WPBeginner byliśmy w Turcji, Dubaju, Pakistanie, Meksyku (Cabo, Punta Mita, Cancun) i na Bahamach (dwukrotnie). Solomon wziął również udział w WordCamp US w Nashville, dzięki czemu jego liczba obecności na WordCampach wzrosła do 3.
Na początku tego roku otrzymałem nagrodę dla wybitnego młodego absolwenta od University of Florida (alma mater). Mogłem również uczestniczyć w meczu futbolu uniwersyteckiego z apartamentu prezydenckiego i poznać mnóstwo niesamowitych ludzi.
Zacząłem pracować w fizycznym biurze przez 3 dni w tygodniu. To świetne rozwiązanie, ponieważ pozwala mi się skupić i zrobić więcej. Kiedy jestem w domu, mogę spędzać więcej czasu z Salomonem. W zeszłym roku rozszerzyłem swój portfel nieruchomości i dodałem budynek Wells Fargo. Stworzyłem swoje biuro na jednym z pięter i miło jest mieć bank jako najemcę.
Aktualizacje WPBeginner
Dzięki wam wszystkim WPBeginner nadal rośnie w dwucyfrowym tempie (rok do roku). Od zeszłego roku pojawiło się kilka znaczących aktualizacji, które chciałbym podkreślić.
1. Przekroczyliśmy 100 000 subskrybentów YouTube
Jednym z moich celów w zeszłym roku było przekroczenie 100 000 subskrybentów na YouTube przed napisaniem tego rocznicowego wpisu. Udało się.
Mamy teraz ponad 102 000 subskrybentów, a nasze filmy mają ponad 10 milionów zobaczów.
