Dla wielu była to nieoczekiwana i niemiła niespodzianka, ponieważ naprawdę chcieliście przejść na stronę WordPress.org, będącą domem popularnego systemu zarządzania treścią. Dziś mam przyjemność ogłosić, że przekazaliśmy domenę Fundacji WordPress.
Dla większości z was to nic nie znaczy i życie toczy się dalej jak zwykle. Dla tych, którzy są bardziej biorący udział w społeczności WordPressa, jest to ogromna sprawa, ponieważ teraz możesz wpisać wp.org w twoich tweetach, wiadomościach na Slacku, statusach na Facebooku itp. bez przeklinania mnie lub WPBeginnera.
Wiem, że to przekierowanie było frustrujące, ponieważ wielu z was pisało do mnie na Twitterze lub wysyłało nam gniewne e-maile. Wszystkich, a nawet tych, którzy wybrali dobrą drogę, chciałbym przeprosić za moje działania.
Teraz pewnie zastanawiacie się, co się zmieniło?

Moja żona i ja jesteśmy w ciąży z naszym pierwszym dzieckiem. To dało mi nowe spojrzenie na życie jako całość.
Od sporządzenia nowego testamentu po pracę nad rozszerzeniem mojego ubezpieczenia na życie, wiele się dzieje. Po raz pierwszy w życiu myślę o nieprzewidzianych okolicznościach. Niektórzy z was, którzy są starsi i znacznie mądrzejsi, nazwą to „dorastaniem”.
Wypisałem wszystkie rzeczy, które są dla mnie bardzo ważne, a na pierwszym miejscu po mojej rodzinie jest WordPress. Jest to moja rozszerzona rodzina i możesz się o tym przekonać, jeśli spotkasz mnie na którymkolwiek z WordCampów. Używam WordPressa od 10 lat, a WPBeginner istnieje od prawie 7 lat.
Innymi słowy, WordPress jest częścią mnie przez 40% mojego życia.
Kiedy myślę o tym wszystkim, co WordPress zrobił dla mnie, przekazanie wp.org na rzecz Fundacji WordPress jest najmniejszym, co mógłbym zrobić.
WordPress jest znacznie większy niż jedna osoba lub jedna organizacja. To jest powód, dla którego Fundacja WordPress istnieje. Teraz, jeśli coś mi się stanie, przynajmniej wiem, że ta domena nie zostanie sprzedana na aukcji temu, kto zaoferuje najwyższą cenę (raczej będzie bezpieczna w domu) z Fundacją.
Żałuję tylko, że nie zrobiłem tego wcześniej. Ale cieszę się, że zrobiłem to teraz.
Życie uczy nas nowych lekcji każdego dnia i jestem pewien, że wiele się nauczę z nowym dzieckiem.

Kudos on the donation, Nothing wrong to me with a redirect on a domain you owned for a similar relevant site but I can see where some might view it as not wordpress and get angry. I was wondering why WP.org had Red in WebOfTrust browser tool with no reviews stating why it had a bad rating but this explains things. I followed you on fb and bookmarked your site so your donation gained me whatever that is worth. Regarding WebOfTrust, Any users that use it and read this should go rate the wp.org domain accurately so that visitors with the browser extension are not fooled into thinking wp.org is not trustworthy… I will! P.S. Also going to rate this domain and it already has a good score!
