WordPress 2.8.3 Released (Security Patch)

The best part about WordPress is that it has a huge community. Even though some might think that WordPress has so many security issues, and they send out updates so quick like a few weeks ago when they released WordPress 2.8.2, but the truth is that WordPress is awesome. We as the users report the flaws and they make the update so quick.

Tons of other software don’t have these flaws just because nobody points them out. Their community is small so alot of their bugs go unnoticed.

With that said there is another security release of WordPress as a version 2.8.3. It is strongly recommended that you upgrade your blog or WordPress site as soon as you can. Here is an excerpt from the WordPress official blog:

Unfortunately, I missed some places when fixing the privilege escalation issues for 2.8.1. Luckily, the entire WordPress community has our backs. Several folks in the community dug deeper and discovered areas that were overlooked. With their help, the remaining issues are fixed in 2.8.3.

The release of Wordpress 2.8.3 was unexpected but looking at the no of bugs and error wordpress 2.8.1 and 2.8.2 had, It was much expected update. Though I updated Wordpress to 2.8.3 and I can still see few Errors in my dashboard
