WordPressでは、非公開投稿やパスワードで保護された投稿を作成することができます。非公開投稿の問題点は、この投稿を見るにはエディターレベルの権限が必要なことです。しかし、投稿を家族や仕事仲間など特定のグループと共有したい場合はどうすればいいでしょうか？このカテゴリーでは、WordPressでユーザーグループと投稿を共有する方法を紹介します。
まず最初に、WP JV Post Reading Groupsをインストールして有効化します。有効化したら、設定 ” 読むで読書グループを作成します。
読書グループの名前を入力し、「新しい読書グループを追加」ボタンをクリックします。複数のリーディンググループが必要な場合は、このステップを繰り返してください。
問題がなければ、ユーザーをリーディンググループに追加します。
WordPress管理エリアのユーザーページに移動し、グループに追加したいユーザーを編集します。画面の下の方にWP JV Reading Groupsセクションがあります。
ユーザーを追加したいユーザーグループの横にあるボックスにチェックを入れてください。ユーザーを複数のグループに追加することもできます。完了したら、ユーザー更新ボタンを忘れずにクリックしてください。
ユーザーグループとの投稿の共有
ユーザーグループの設定ができたところで、特定のユーザーグループと投稿を非公開で共有する方法を見てみましょう。
まず、新規投稿を作成するか、既存の投稿を編集します。WP JV Reading groupsのメタ情報が表示されます。
投稿を共有したいグループ名の次のチェックボックスをクリックします。次に、公開するメタ情報の下にある可視性の次の編集リンクをクリックし、投稿を非公開に設定します。
これですべてです。これで投稿を更新または公開することができ、選択したユーザーグループのユーザーにのみ表示されるようになります。
注意：ユーザーグループはユーザーに特別な権限を与えるものではありません。WordPressサイト上のユーザーの権限は変わりません。WordPressのユーザー権限グループについては、初心者向けガイドをご覧ください。

This plugin has a problem. i activated this plugin. when i place my cursor over any option in admin panel, that button does not expand. example: i placed my cursor over setting, normally now i should see general, reading, writing etc beside as a pop up kind of. but when this plugin is activated it doesnt show. maybe i could not explain. what ever is there any other way?

Does the user from the reading group need to login into the wp account then go back and click a shared link to view the private post?
Is it possible to setup the user, share the private link and when clicked by user have the login screen appear?

This plugin messes up my menu’s. All submenu’s are lost. A pity because it seemed to work fine.
