今日はアメリカの誕生日、そして（もっと重要な）WPBeginnerの誕生日です。WPBeginnerが6歳だなんてクレイジーですが、本当です！
今年のお祝いはちょっと違います。大盤振る舞いや3つの学校を作る代わりに、一歩引いてこの旅を振り返り、いくつかの重要なマイルストーンとその先にあるものを共有したいと思います。
WPBeginnerストーリー
2006年に初めてWordPressを知ったとき、私は16歳でした。このプラットフォームに惚れ込むのに時間はかからなかった。
2009年（19歳のとき）、中小企業、ブロガー、非技術系サイトオーナーにわかりやすい最先端のWordPressチュートリアルを提供することで、WordPressを簡単にすることを使命として、WPBeginnerを立ち上げました。
それ以来、WPBeginnerは業界最大級の無料WordPressリソースサイトとなりました。

次は何が来る？
私のメモをすべて共有し始めると、数日間ここにいることになります。毎日、皆さん（WPBeginnerの読者）から、私たちが改善できることについて提案してくれる素晴らしいメールを受け取っています。やりたいことはたくさんあるのですが、主なものをいくつかご紹介します：
WPBeginnerのデザイン変更
最後にデザインを一新したのは2012年6月でした。たくさんの改良を加えましたが、少し古く感じられるようになりました（モバイル・レスポンシブでないことは承知しています）。
今年は、サイトがレスポンシブでないというメールやコメントを受け取らなかった日は個別にはありませんでした。現実には、WPBeginnerユーザーの91%はデスクトップです。残りの3%はタブレットです。どちらの画面サイズも私たちのサイトには十分な大きさです。しかし、モバイルでサイトを訪れるユーザーも6％おり、彼らの体験は快適とは言えません。
すでにリデザインの最初のスケッチに取り掛かっており、とてもいい感じです。
メガ・チュートリアル＆eブック
WPBeginnerを始めた当初からWordPressは大きく成長しました。今ではメンバーシップやeコマースなど、1つの投稿ではカバーしきれない複雑なトピックもあります。
私は個人的に「シリーズ」投稿というコンセプトが好きではないので、長い間そういった複雑なトピックを無視してきました。
しかし、このサイトは私のためではなく、読者のためなのだ。何人かの読者とメールや直接会って話した結果、うまくいく解決策を思いついた。これを「メガ・チュートリアル」と呼び、ウェブとeBookの両方のフォーマットで提供する予定だ。
