うわー、7回目だ。WPBeginnerが7歳で、私がこの10年間WordPressを使ってきたことを考えると、まだクレイジーな気分です。
毎年のように、私の人生とビジネスで起こっている主なことをすべて簡単に振り返りたいと思います。
WPBeginnerストーリー
私は16歳の時にWordPressを使い始め、19歳の時にWPBeginnerを始めました。
それ以来、WPBeginnerは世界最大級の無料WordPressリソースサイトとなりました。

個人的な更新
2016年は私個人にとってHUUGEEな年だ。
先週、妻（アマンダ）が臨床心理学の博士号を取得し、ウェストパームビーチの新居に引っ越しました。
2016年11月には第一子が生まれる予定です。

WPBeginnerの更新
みなさんのおかげで、WPBeginnerは一貫して（年々）成長しています。私たちは、新しいチュートリアルを追加し続ける一方で、古いチュートリアルが常に最新の状態に保たれるように努力してきました。
いくつか注目すべき変更がありましたので、お知らせしたいと思います：
1.1.WP.orgからWordPressへ
昨年の今頃は、wp.orgと入力するとWPBeginnerにリダイレクトされていました。先月の初めに、私たちはこの2文字のドメイン名をWordPress財団に寄付しました。

2.WPBeginnerユーチューブ
私がこの投稿を書いていた昨年、WPBeginner YouTubeチャンネルの購読者は1万9000人弱で、動画表示回数は160万回、チュートリアル動画は合計394本でした。
私たちは少し戦略を変えました。毎週新しい動画を制作する代わりに、今は週に1回動画を公開しています。これにより、（エンゲージメントによって証明されるように）より良い動画を制作することができるようになりました。
現在、合計492のチュートリアル動画があり、合計440万回表示されています。また、購読者は37,000人に達しています。

3.ファイアウォールとスピード

WPFormsとMonsterInsights
今年は2つの新製品を追加しました。
WPFormsはWordPress用の最も初心者向けのお問い合わせフォームプラグインです。3月にリリースし、すでに50,000ダウンロードを突破しました。個人的に市場で最高のソリューションだと信じているので、急速に成長しています。
今年のWPBeginnerアンケートでは、多くの方がWordPress用の使いやすい分析ソリューションを構築することを望んでいました。それを念頭に置いて、私たちは人気のGoogle Analytics by Yoastプラグインを買収し、MonsterInsightsに改名しました。
このプラグインは1100万ダウンロード以上されていますが、まだダウンロードしてほしくありません。率直に言って、私はこのプラグインの現状を恥じている。そのため、プラグイン全体をよりユーザーフレンドリーに刷新し、あなたのビジネスの成長に実際に役立つようにします。

Enviraギャラリーの成長
昨年10月、Enviraギャラリーのサイトをリニューアルしたところ、瞬く間に売上が倍増しました（ケーススタディ）。
その後、私たちが追加したすべての新機能をユーザーが簡単に使用できるように、まったく新しいギャラリーのワークフローを作成しました。
この2つの組み合わせがEnviraの成長を促進しました。今では42万ダウンロードを超えました。
私はEnviraチームを非常に誇りに思っていますし、将来がとても楽しみです。
Soliloquy – 新規: 新たな始まり
Soliloquy WordPress Sliderは私たちの最も古い製品であり、最も安定しています。
しかし、私たちの他のすべての製品と比較して、Soliloquyは少し古く見えました。そこで先月、Soliloquy（サイトとプラグインの両方）を刷新しました。
もう少しデータを集めてから、リデザインが売上にどのような影響を与えたかについてのケーススタディを投稿するつもりです。
