Ho iniziato a usare WordPress a 16 anni e ho fondato WPBeginner a 19 anni con un’unica missione: rendere WordPress facile per i principianti.
Da allora WPBeginner è diventato il più grande sito di risorse gratuite su WordPress per principianti.

Aggiornamenti personali
Mio figlio, Solomon, ha ora 2,5 anni. Sta crescendo velocemente e mi sto godendo ogni momento trascorso con lui. Amanda (mia moglie) e Solomon si sono uniti a me in molti dei miei viaggi di lavoro e abbiamo fatto anche diversi viaggi divertenti.
Dall’ultimo post sull’anniversario di WPBeginner, siamo stati in Spagna, Italia, Porto Rico, St. Maarten, Messico (Tulum, Punta Mita, Cozumel, Costa Maya), Canada e abbiamo fatto diversi viaggi negli Stati Uniti, tra cui il memorabile roadtrip attraverso lo Utah, dove abbiamo visitato i principali parchi nazionali.
La scorsa settimana abbiamo fatto il nostro ritiro aziendale a Orlando, FL, dove abbiamo festeggiato il 10° compleanno di WPBeginner un po’ in anticipo. Ecco alcune foto:
Aggiornamenti WPBeginner
Al compimento del 10° anno, WPBeginner ha continuato a crescere a doppia cifra (anno su anno). Oltre alle tonnellate di fantastici tutorial su WordPress presenti sul nostro blog, lo scorso anno sono stati introdotti diversi aggiornamenti degni di nota che vorrei sottolineare.
1. Abbiamo lanciato il gruppo Facebook WPBeginner Engage.
Molti di voi ce lo hanno chiesto, così la scorsa settimana abbiamo finalmente lanciato il nostro gruppo Facebook.
WPBeginner Engage è un luogo ideale per condividere e imparare consigli sull’uso di WordPress e conoscere altri utenti.
Oltre al supporto peer-to-peer e alla condivisione delle conoscenze, durante l’anno ci saranno anche premi e omaggi esclusivi.
Cosa state aspettando? Entrate nel gruppo Facebook WPBeginner. Non vedo l’ora di entrare in contatto con voi 
2. Nuova infrastruttura di hosting
Per festeggiare il 10° compleanno di WPBeginner, ho ricevuto un bel regalo dal nostro partner di hosting WordPress, HostGator. Hanno completamente rinnovato la nostra infrastruttura di hosting per renderla ancora più robusta e veloce.
Ecco una panoramica di come si presenta la nuova configurazione:

L’anno scorso ho creato il primo fondo di accelerazione della crescita incentrato su WordPress.
L’obiettivo era semplice: investire in aziende di prodotti e servizi WordPress per aiutarle a far crescere la loro attività creando prodotti straordinari per i nostri utenti.
I miei primi investimenti nell’ambito del fondo di crescita comprendono: MemberPress, Pretty Links, Affiliate Royale, Formidable Forms e SeedProd.
Lavorare a stretto contatto e fare da mentore a questi imprenditori di talento è stata un’esperienza estremamente gratificante per me.

I rarely see domain royalty deals these days unless you have a one word or very short domain. In most cases its not in the buyers interest to keep paying a monthly fee and build a brand that they don’t own themselves.

I have learned to love Wordpress. I am 73 years old and began 18 months ago creating my website with the assistance of daily phone calls at 20 minutes each (one day I spent 6 hours redialing and asking questions) and by the end of the month was able to have IPage upload everything and viola the website was live. I work a little bit every day (because I have another job too) and each day I learn more and more. I tried other premade websites prior to selecting Wordpress and none made as much sense nor was as complete. So thank you for all you have done in helping me realize a 20 year old dream.
