I currently have an an Instagram account that is about two different topics. I sell and collect jewelry. I have added a personal blog (comedy) that is completely unrelated to jewelry. I am new to the idea of blogging. I am just starting to research how to start one. My idea is to share my writing and connect with other writers and poets because that is mainly what I do. It seems that a personal and niche component may work for me, but I wonder what I should research to start formalizing my ideas.

We would recommend looking at blogs already publishing content on similar topics. This will give you a good starting point to plan and research your own content strategy

if only book blogs and literature related stuff gained more popularity–that would be amazing!
this is an interesting list, there are a lot of options here too, aside from literature. i would have thought that personal blogs would be more popular and higher up, seeing as everyone is joining that club these days.
