Very, helpful, “user friendly ” kinda suggestions and ideas. Reading some of the above comments, I feel personal blogging would be easiest for beginners, cuz u can basically blog about anything… leaving mounds of room for creative ideas, thought, and so on…

I read through most of the other articles as well.

Could I do a blog/website that would include travel blog, inspirational stories, short stories, Vet advise (a friend would write), any personal development as well as recipes (another friend would write)?

Would this be too much and should I rather focus on one thing or could I make this work with a variety of writers and topics?

Looking forward to hearing from you.

    • WPBeginner Support

You could do that if you wanted, you would want to ensure each post is in its own category and as you grow you could decide if you need to separate the content.

    Hello,

I currently have an an Instagram account that is about two different topics. I sell and collect jewelry. I have added a personal blog (comedy) that is completely unrelated to jewelry. My posts are about both. One day I will photo and promote jewelry and the next post I am writing something personal and funny. The thing is, I want the freedom to do both and still drive traffic to my page and sites. I do not want to have a separate accounts for each. What are your thoughts on this? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

You see, I need to make money and I want to do something like this to entertain myself, and to entertain others. I can’t think of a type of blog that people would be interested in

I am new to the idea of blogging. I am just starting to research how to start one. My idea is to share my writing and connect with other writers and poets because that is mainly what I do. It seems that a personal and niche component may work for me, but I wonder what I should research to start formalizing my ideas.

      Hi Caden,

We would recommend looking at blogs already publishing content on similar topics. This will give you a good starting point to plan and research your own content strategy

if only book blogs and literature related stuff gained more popularity–that would be amazing!
this is an interesting list, there are a lot of options here too, aside from literature. i would have thought that personal blogs would be more popular and higher up, seeing as everyone is joining that club these days.

What kind of book blog would you like to see? When I think of a book blog, I think of book reviews. Is there another approach?
