Earlier this year, we celebrated WPBeginner’s 4th birthday by doing a massive giveaway and raising the funds to build a school in Guatemala. That campaign was successful, and we raised a total of $25,150.
Last week, I got a notification from my contact at Pencils of Promise with the pictures of the school we helped build. Here’s the email snippet:
According to our Guatemala team, the community is not only one of our most remote, but also one of our most united. Throughout the school build process, the community members would come straight from working all day to welcome PoP and actively participate in community meetings.
